I shoot film, tweak pixels and write songs. I live in California, near Santa Barbara. Climbing rocks. Surfing waves. I have a lot of odd cameras, old guitars and loud amps. Sometimes I throw up a mic and make some songs. The last project I released was called Jaws with friends of mine from Lagwagon, RKL and Bad Astronaut. God, I’ve grown to really hate her. She’s played real dirty and people in Ohio and Texas are too stupid to go to factcheck.org before they believe what they hear. Last night was very depressing.
I agree that she won’t be able to catch up, but I don’t think she cares. She wants it to go to the convention close enough where she can point to the fact that she won the big states and that the only reason that Obama has more delegates is because of the outdated caucus system. Obama winning the Texas caucus will actually work against him because she can use it to suggest that other caucus states might have gone her way if there was a primary instead. She’ll go to the convention, have back room dealings and she’ll come out as the presidential nominee and offer the olive branch of Barack as VP (the only way she knows she can win in Nov.). Meanwhile McCant will consolidate his base and GW Asswipe will do everything he can to put lipstick on the pig of our economy, even if it is to our long term detriment. The democratic party will not tear itself apart but the long months of infighting and dirty politics combined with the innate unfairness of the person who won the most delegates not actually receiving the nomination will damage the fragile hopes of disenchanted new voters and young voters, many of whom will stay home in Nov. Finally, McCant and the thieves who stole the last two elections will pull out another close victory (probably under similarly dubious circumstances), the American people get ass-raped with no KY for another 4 years, and the democrats will go down in history as the only jackasses who had a lower turnout in a general election than a primary, somehow managing to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. Of course maybe I’m just being optimistic ;) Fuck it. I’m moving to Italy. Joey
