I'm an artist, photographer and musician living in Santa Barbara County, California. I have several music projects including "Jaws", a rock project with former and current members of RKL, Lagwagon, Bad Astronaut, Mad Caddies, King City & others. I also have a solo project tentatively called "1976". I record in my home studio which consists of gear & instruments I've collected in the past couple decades. Sometimes I produce, record, mix and write songs for other artists and friends. I shoot pictures using my Mamiya 6, Nikons D70 & F100 and a variety of esoteric 120 & 35mm film cameras (Agfa, Braun, Holga, Lomo). I also shoot moving pictures on a Canon HV20 and on my collection of 8mm cameras. I'm involved with several Websites/RSS feeds. Politics in the last 10 days

I left the country about 11 days ago and got back Saturday. There seems to be very little that has transpired in that time in the American political scene. The story-lines, narratives and rhetoric haven’t moved one bit. I really don’t understand why Hillary is still in this race. I guess it is worth holding on in case some major catastrophe befalls Barack Obama, but if he can weather the Reverend Wright fiasco and come out the other side with virtually no change in the trajectory of his numbers then I don’t think there is much he can’t handle between now and the Democratic convergence in Denver.

Of course that last sentence could come back to haunt me. Cross your fingers kids. And keep ‘em crossed.
