I'm an artist, photographer and musician living in Santa Barbara County, California. I have several music projects including "Jaws", a rock project with former and current members of RKL, Lagwagon, Bad Astronaut, Mad Caddies, King City & others. I also have a solo project tentatively called "1976". I record in my home studio which consists of gear & instruments I've collected in the past couple decades. Sometimes I produce, record, mix and write songs for other artists and friends. I shoot pictures using my Mamiya 6, Nikons D70 & F100 and a variety of esoteric 120 & 35mm film cameras (Agfa, Braun, Holga, Lomo). I also shoot moving pictures on a Canon HV20 and on my collection of 8mm cameras. I'm involved with several Websites/RSS feeds. Summer in Malibu

The early Summer months are always the ones that bring out the - how to put this politely - casual surfer. A lot of scenes like the one I saw earlier with three guys in a yellow jeep with one Channel Islands surfboard promenently displayed in the ride. What are you guys gonna share? That CI looks suspiciously new too dudes. By July a lot of them are done “surfing” and the people who really want to learn join the people who already stuck with it in charging some tastys.

If you don’t surf, don’t start bro. But if you do, don’t kook it up in a yellow jeep.
